Working toward BS in Physics
Jonah is a student at Hillsdale College, studying Physics with a focus on optical and nuclear physics. He is also studying Classics with the goal of utilizing an appreciation for language and history to better understand and communicate scientific ideas. Jonah’s professional experience includes serving in the Hillsdale astrophysics lab as a part of the Student Teams of Astrophysics Researchers with the North American Nanohertz Observatory for Gravitational Waves (NANOGrav) to identify pulsars by reviewing processed signals from radio telescopes. He has also worked in the Hillsdale Advanced Laser & Optics lab, developing algorithms to analyze laser beams and their effects on materials using Python.
