Joe was formerly a Patent Agent for a major automotive supplier, providing in-house patent preparation and prosecution for the active safety, user experience, and signal & power fields , including object detection, classification, situational awareness, localization, driver assistance, trailer detection, navigation, driver monitoring, driver distraction, driver fatigue, camera and RADAR applications, electrical connectors, and signal & power distribution.

Joe was also formerly an Engineering Manager for Delphi Automotive Systems, leading advanced engineering development projects in solid oxide fuel cells and vehicle emission-reduction technologies.

Technical Experience

Energy:  Solid oxide fuel cell cathode, anode, electrolyte, electrical contacts, fluid flow distribution, fuel cell stack heat management.

Emission Reduction:  Catalytic converters for gasoline and diesel engines, selective catalytic reduction systems for diesel engines, exhaust oxygen sensors.
